When you import products, a category named "League License Products" is created in your store - do not rename this category. We recommend displaying this category in your store, however, if you do not want to display this category in your store, make this category invisible by using the "Visible In Menu" option - in your Bigcommerce store product category list view, deselect the green check under "Visible In Menu". You can then move the team or type subcategories within "League License Products" to another category in your store. Note: If the "League License Products" category is made "Not Visible" all subcategories created within this category will also be "Not Visible". You will need to make these categories visible if you move them and want them to display within other categories in your store.


When you import products, the following settings may be defaulted (some defaults depend on the quantity available) for each product:

  • On the "Product Details tab" in Bigcommerce, under the Shipping section, "Free Shipping" is defaults to off.
  • On the "Product Details tab" in Bigcommerce, under the Availability section, the "Availability", for products that are out of stock at the time of import, defaults to "This product cannot be purchased in my online store". If you want to show customers that you carry these products you need to change the "Availability" to "This product can be purchased in my online store". In addition, on the "Product Other Details tab" in Bigcommerce, under the "Other Details" section "Visible", products that are out of stock at the time of import default to "blank" or "not selected" in the checkbox next to "Yes, this product should be visible on my web site" (in other words, they default to NOT VISIBLE). If you want to show customers that you carry these products you need to check the box next to "Yes, this product should be visible on my web site".


If you plan on fulfilling orders through League License and you plan on charging your customers for shipping, you should consider editing your shipping settings (Store Setup > Shipping) to the following shipping address to ensure you are able to get a good estimate of what the shipping rates might be when shipping to your customer:

IMPORTANT: The weights of products in League License are measured in pounds and dimensions are measured in inches so you should set your physical dimensions in your store accordingly (In Bigcommerce: Store Setup > Store Settings > Physical Dimensions Settings (Weight Measurement & Length Measurement)).
